Griz vs.JMU Quarterfinal Game

I don’t know enough football to analyze but it just felt like more often than that the passes were all well defended.

JMU just had more all around team speed. Plus, most of our skill positions were freshman, I see the future as really bright, but I'm a football optimist.

I think we are going to be good too. To be a true championship team we just have to develop a few things. I think the defense will be really good again. My pick for breakout year on D will be J McGourin. On offense maybe Simpson will be that person. I think other young guys have already announced their presence. I agree I think next year will be at least a little brighter than this year.

I never used to root against the scats, (except cat griz) but that has changed. I've never seen or heard a bigger bunch of douche bags than the cat fans the past couple years. I hope they get their a**es kicked tomorrow. I will be cheering for SHSU.

We have a lot of really good players, enough to get as far as we did, but still missing enough we just aren’t a championship team this year. JMU is a better more complete team. We will get many really good players back next year and then some that were missing all season. Hope we have a QB ready to step up next year. Need to figure out how to get the receivers the ball more. Whether that is the receivers, QBs, offensive play calling or all of the above. Felt like all year the receivers weren’t getting separation. Maybe they did and the QBs did t get it done or the play calling limited it. I don’t know enough football to analyze but it just felt like more often than that the passes were all well defended.

We’re going to have a legit unreal backfield next year. And young. Knight Osmo X Child’s and than Junior. I would play junior everywhere.

If I were Bobby my focus would be on finding an o line that can Maul and a QB that can win in the off-season. We will have young playmakers everywhere. And a defense that should be as good if not better than this year.

Thanks, good luck tomorrow. I have a lot of respect for your school and program, what bothers me is the constant belittling of our school on your Board. I’m a proud graduate of the University of Montana, and don’t appreciate outsiders calling our school trash, players and coaches dirty, etc.

And as for the school/program bashing. There’s an entire thread on here trashing MSUs freshman QB. If (and to be honest when) MSU meets the same fate tomorrow night, I would expect nothing less than plenty of posters on here talking negative on the cats.

That’s a rivalry. That’s the point. Don’t victimize and Go Montanans
