I am one of those who was supporting him. Unfortunately his face and body language say it all. The kid doesn’t have it. He has had plenty of opportunities. Not like he didn’t have a fair shot. Look at the body language of Patterson compared to Brown. Patterson believes he should be out there

Physically, he has all the tools. Unfortunately, his awareness, recognition, etc haven't progressed well. Kind of difficult to truly evaluate his true potential. I hope, he commits for 1 more season.

Patterson has the arm strength of a mediocre high school QB. He might be a ‘gamer’ but he can’t throw the ball.

This. You could see in that kids eyes he didn’t have it. He was terrified. We need a QB for next year or we will be the Cats.
