Griz vs. ISU Predictions

Well let's see. Since my score guesses have been way off last two weeks lets try opposite of my gut. Maybe then I won't be bummed out all SAT. Can't believe I am about to say this:

The Griz are demoralized after last two weeks and ISU capitalizes and wins 24-17

I think not having Jeremy Calhoun will lead to trouble scoring TDs in the red zone, but the Griz will prevail nonetheless. I foresee a Makena Simis TD pass on a fake field goal attempt.

Grizzlies 36
Bengals 17

You actually might not be crazy. Last year took a lucky play to win, the big human is a good coach and it wouldn't surprise me he finds a way to win. Home field so I say 24-17 the other way but not a blow out for damn sure

From the isu message board:

"First of all, defensive lineman Rasheed Williams was injured at the beginning of the year and he's been sorely missed, and now d-tackle Nikko Taylor won't travel to Missoula this weekend. Linebacker Mario Jenkins may not travel this weekend. Offensive linemen Skyler Phillips and Chase Collins were lost for the season the middle part of the year, and now lineman Thomas Vazorka won't make the trip to Missoula. Wide receiver Broc Malcom was academically ineligible the beginning of the year, and his backup Chris Reynolds has been injured all year. Running back Jakori Ford is doubtful for the Montana game and his backup, Ty Flanagan, is questionable this weekend as well."

They are limping into this game, literally.

Griz: Over 40
isu: Under 20

I don't care if EWU is the beast of the BSC lately, this is the game that every other team really wants to play. Beating the Griz is HUUUUGE! Beating them at Wa Griz is even bigger.

Ain't going to happen here, though.Griz love playing at home. Hopefully, by next year, we will be able to win on the road.

Last year we beat NDSU at home. We dominated EWU at home. WaGriz is worth a ton of points. We're gonna roll ISU 57- 14, except ISU may score a few more points in garbage time,i.e., most of the 4th quarter.

With Calhoun out, Stitt has to decide if Counts is a member of the team, or not. Frankly, letting him play at all suggests that he is. Dog house, or not. Which is it? Who we have running the ball today could determine the outcome.

Speaking of which- when was the last time Gus completed a pass downfield that was over 20 yards? I am not talking total yards after the completion. At the SUU game, I saw two overthrown, deep passes, followed by an underthrown pick. Nothing since. Gus started the season nailing the deep route. Nothing recent comes to mind. Maybe one 'attempt' per game.
