Who cares what happens in the moo-u game.Let’s revisit this after next week. If ISU puts up similar numbers against MSU I’ll come back to this thread and eat my words.

Well obviously Home Grown does.Who cares what happens in the moo-u game.
ISU's game against NC was Jordan Cooke's first game back from injury and he didn't even play the entire game. He looked rusty, off target, and off rhythm. Tonight he was on target and on rhythm.wording kinda suck, but the pojnt I’m trying to make, is that NCU gave up 250 yards passing…..Griz gave up 400. That’s just downright bad
Nope, I just don't know why people think it matters.Well obviously Home Grown does.
Does that bother you?
It seems to bother you.
MSU is and has been a title contender for quite some time. Year in and year out they have an excellent defense. I care about FCS football, so I care about what the best teams are doing week in and week out to be successful. You don’t? That’s fine. I do. Also fine.Who cares what happens in the moo-u game.
Boils down to our inability to get to the QB. Send the house and STILL don’t get to the QB. That doesn’t bode well for pass coverage—even WITH Loud on the field…
Excuses are like assholes……everybody has one. He lit us the fuck up….thats the bottom lineISU's game against NC was Jordan Cooke's first game back from injury and he didn't even play the entire game. He looked rusty, off target, and off rhythm. Tonight he was on target and on rhythm.
And how they do against ISU matters zero for the Griz, and you want to make it some sort of metric.MSU is and has been a title contender for quite some time. Gotta give ISU credit. They had us on our heels the whole game. Cooke is the real deal and he might just carve up the kitties next week...just like he did to us. Glad for the GRIZ win, but ISU smoked the visiting team. Sorry sugar coaters. There is lots to do this week to improve on many fronts. Good thing we are at home and hope Loud is healed up.Idaho State gave us everything they had. Every team gives us everything they have.
Agreed. Watching the vaunted Griz rushing game get stuffed for 3 quarters was rough. I’m glad the Griz have awesome playmakers on the outside that carried the day. And Ah Yat. That kid had a hell of a day. We saw him mature with ND, but winning a shootout like this is another giant leap in his development. He totally reminds me of Marcus Mariota when he was at Oregon. I’m not saying he is on that level (don’t come at me) just that he is cool as a cucumber when the pressures on.
Another thing: when the D brings 6 on the blitz, they leave the spot where ALL the linebackers just were wide open. It was easy money all day. I get that those WRs are fantastic, but holy hell. The defense definitely needs a “come to Jesus” talk. Giving up 421 in the air is insane no matter how you slice it. Glad they got the W and pulled it out.
I just like watching good defense. As much as I hate them, MSU has a good/great defense again this season, and they’re a pleasure to watch. They’re clearly the class of the big sky defensively. They are shutting teams down since the Oregon game. NAU wasn’t a bad team, and they beat them like a drum and smothered their offense.Well obviously Home Grown does.

You’re not wrong. Made me laugh. But still HHB was the voice of reason tonight.Bullshit. HHB doesn’t even understand HHB.
Because it is a metric. And how they do against ISU matters zero for the Griz, and you want to make it some sort of metric.
Schaefer at DE or DT. He'd swat down passes!Maybe time to get creative and start looking for answers on the D-line from different positions? Any TEs or extra linemen we could try out?
I'd be happier if he forced 2 O-Linemen to focus on him opening up lanes for our LBs, that would be huge and he's definitely big enoughSchaefer at DE or DT. He'd swat down passes!
I had to cut myself off in order to have any hope of sleeping tonight. And it's already 11:00 p.m. here.I have a literal headache from this game. Guess it's time for another Coke Zero.
