both teams are getting hit by refs....just a bad game...bad crowd...sloppy..the Griz can win, but they need to show a little life..not out of control aggression and they have no post play, whatsoever..on either side.....Cherry is trying to do it all himself, and might be able to do it...

Not what I meant. Griz should be definitely playing better. Was merely commenting on the call by the ref. Not blaming them. Not their fault Griz aren't playing well.
 
Officiating was better overall in the 1st half with the exception of a couple questionable calls on both sides. 2nd half though, they whistle happy. Come on GRIZ!!!!

Either that, or we've been severely spoiled by Q the last couple years. Seems like all our big men except maybe Hutch are on the lankier side. Not much girth down low this year.
 
Stockton is probably one of the few guys on this team that doesn't seem to overthink things. There are some guys that just let every miss get in their head and can't get out of their funk.
 
Stocks w/a huge 3! 3:54 left, Griz up 53-47. Looks like we may live and die by 3 ball and outside jumpers this year. I'd think we'd play more up tempo. Seems like we've just been passing the ball along the perimeter, thinking Q is magically gonna be down low, then chucking a jumper. Maybe Tinks will have them start pushing the ball more later in the year.
 
Nice 3 by Stockton. Do you some of you remember how inconsistent Qvale was as a FR and SO? Very inconsistent. Patience with the bigs. Selvig's experience will help in a week or 2.

Which is exactly WHY the Griz need more speed. Tinks is doing the best he can without a big guy and that is kinda scary if this is the best they can do...I don't expect a blow out, but UM seems to lack energy...maybe it is just Big Sky TV, but neither team seems to be consistent.

As the young guys get more experience, and we get Selvig back, we will have the depth to cater to more uptempo.
