Griz vs Fresno on TV/Computer

Griz played very well for 35 of the 40 minutes. Nice win on the road. I like the new starting lineup, a lot more passing and a lot less dribbling. Nice to have a point who can score.

I watched the second half on some..cbs-fresno state tv thing.

JACK free throws won the game for the GRIZ

Tinks still does some goofy last minute coaching but they pulled out the win

Selving showed some sparks of great agility and confidence...although bringing the
ball up the court my not be his best suite.

Griz win without a big game from Jordo.

AJ..great altheticm and speed. still 5 turnovers..some very carless passes.but he is picking it
up fast..i simply love how he pushes it up the floor and how quick he is.

Stauds ..shooting 4-4 shooting in the first half kept them in it..he still probably leads the nation
in three shooting which IS pretty amazing.

When they were up by 15...it could have been a blow out..they need put the daggar in.

WAY TO GO JACK...CLUTCH.

this was a good team... i say we peat PSU this next weekend. It will be interesting to see how PSU does
vs UW tonight.

I watched the entire game, I guess you don't want to give Tinks any credit for the fact the Griz led by double digits damn near the entire game, without the starting PG, a guy out of position, and Jordo having an off night. You sound like some of the bobby haters...by the way, Jack made a couple bonehead passes (see turnovers), but I guess that is Tinks fault. When Jack missed FT's all season you would blame Tinks I bet, but now Jack won the game>>>> hardly. It was TEAM win!

Good win against a quality opponent and on the road! I think we are seeing real progress. :) Congrats Griz!

FSU was a good match to open this road trip. Could it be, that winning this one will turn this team around, finally? This week should be telling UC Riverside is much, much improved over past years and will give the Griz a challenge. If UM pulls this out, this might be a good season, after all....By the way, good for Coach Tinkle in showing his players that their are repercussions from bad behavior. Now, if only the football coach could do the same..starting next year, of course.

what will turn this team and this program around is a committment to defense--as when you're up by five with three minutes to play and you need a few defensive stops to wrap it up. i give the griz--and mcgillis in particular--tremendous credit for winning a game that i didn't think was winnable before the season started, but in the last minutes of the game, fresno state scored on six straight possessions. we won it by being perfect with our free throws but the other route to winning close games is defense, and it just wasn't there in the clutch yesterday. defensive efficiency and intensity is what i'll be looking for when i see my first live griz game saturday night in portland.

It is good to see so many players getting serious minutes. Banney got 11 minutes and one basket. Can anyone provide any additional incite on how he did? I was hoping that they could use him as a penetration threat, a bit like I remember Chriswel.

Kicking the players off the team isn't good enough?

But to get back on topic, it's good to see some life from a team that should be showing it every night they play by how they were talked up in the off-season. Keep exceeding our expectations, Griz, and that goes for all teams!

Banny is being used more for his defense & rebounding right now it looks like. He took 2 charges in those 11 minutes. I'm hoping that they'll continue to use him more as the season goes on. I really like his effort on defense and rebounding.

Griz were NOT perfect down the stretch, McGillis missed one. I hope you don't eat as much at PSU, that was gross watching you waddle down to your seat with an armload of food at Pacific.
