Griz vs. Eags Predictions

I think the GRIZ play their ass off, Cam does well and we win 38-31. After all it’s EWU and that team needs to be throttled

Griz get TEs rolling...a few good TE catches and run game finds success Griz rush for 200+ yards and win 38-27

Given time Cam will do a nice job on Saturday. On offense it starts up front. Maybe a max protect scheme. On defense the safeties have to a better job of being a safety. Saturday was just aweful for that group! Being at home will help, and the coaching staff fixes the glaring mistakes and weaknesses that reared their ugly heads.

eagles......28
Grizzlies...42

This game will likely show us where the Griz are in their #RTD process. Historically the Griz always seemed to have a clunker of a game under Hauck each season. A lot of people have referenced the 2008 team which went to the NC, but had a rough road game similar to Sac State against an even worse opponent. Bad losses are going to happen to even the best of teams, but the best teams are the ones who can successfully bounce back and not go on season draining slides (like we have experienced in the past). Factoring in an unhealthy Sneed or backup QB doesn't help our chances.

This year's team feels different than what we've seen in the previous years. I'm going with a slight bias pick here hoping the Griz prove they are on the right track to #RTD

GRIZ - 41
Eastern Washington - 38

I was wildly overconfident last week.

You are the first Griz fan since the beginning of time to utter this sentence.

;)

Taken literally, "since the beginning of time" is a very large frame of reference so I will have to disagree with you just on the basis of statistical probability. As hyperbole however it was very well done. :thumb:

I still think we have a bit to go. But I like our progress. With Dalton i would have predicted a griz win. Humphrey is solid but unproven so that means it falls on our d who a QB who is dynamic and experienced.

EWU-31
Griz-20

Not sure exactly what to expect in this one. Assuming Sneed is out, I think Cam is a very capable backup and we should be able to score quite a bit against their suspect defense. They have a good offense and will score against our suddenly suspect defense also. I had no doubt about this game a week age but now it might be a crap shoot.

38-35 us because we're at home.

Everyone seems to be very concerned about the quarterback position this week. What better way to help Cam out than to hand it off to Marcus Knight 30 times? Kid will have 200 yards on the ground and score 3 times. Griz roll 35-34.

This team doesnt lose at home this year regular season and first two playoff games. Humphrey starts this weekend as well as against PSU and freakin kills it.

EWU 24
GRIZ 48

"Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad."

With Sneed being able to play:
UM 41
ewu 31

Without Sneed playing (no knock on Humphrey, he can more than hold his own; more of a realization how tough this passing offense can be with Sneed at full strength)
UM 28
ewu 35

ewu could go on a run if they get enough guys back
