The BSC championship thing is a joke. 2 of the times you won it you plays EWU out of conerence and they beat you both times! And for many years with foolerton as commissioner most of your conference games were teams who played the Griz the week before!

Actually, in 2010 we beat Eastern 30-7 at home and it was a conference game. In 2011, we beat EWU on the road 36-21 and it was a conference game. In 2012, they beat us by 3 at home and it was a conference game. Shared a Big Sky title each of those years.
As for your last sentence...

Without every team in the conference playing all the teams in the conference, there is not true conference champion.

They have reached such a low, that they actually have to defer to other teams beating the Griz as a rebuttal. How f***[*] pathetic is that? And notice the ever present asterisk on the 2011 season. WEAK.
Coward, pathetic ,weak ass shit.

And to counter that, it's pretty pathetic to constantly hear griz nation rubbing it in and throwing the overall head to head numbers in our faces, even though a good chunk of those griz wins came when you were in a higher division. But by all means - go ahead and continue doing that if it makes you feel good.

get'em_griz said:Cat fans can't complain that the Griz have more wins because they played in different divisions and then come out and say that MSU has won more national championships than UM when MSU won 2 of those at a lower level (NAIA in 1956 and Division II in 1976). You can't have it both ways.
So you're saying that "tradition" doesn't matter? There are probably hundreds of millions and maybe even billions of sports fans worldwide that would disagree with you.ordigger said:And yet none of what happened prior to this year matters. Win this year....thats the only thing that counts.
