Griz vs. ben gals Predictions (Home Coming)

The coaching staff need to make sure to keep team focus this week after a big win and in all reality a good jump up in the polls. I think this game could be closer than many predict and would like. At least score wise!

I think going in at half it will be;
Griz 14
ISU 10

We have witnessed this coaching staff make good halftime adjustments, which continue this week.

At the final whistle;
Griz 35
ISU 20, with 7 of those coming late in the 4th.

With regards to polls. I believe with the Griz win against UCD they should crack the top 10. However, I could easily see voters not jumping them that high and the Griz being #15.
 
Bengals - 27
Grizzlies - 41

ISU takes the lead late in the first half, 20-17, but the Grizzlies defense clamps down again in the 2nd half and the Griz get opportunistic. Josh Sandry sparks the 2nd half comeback with a pick-6, KO/P Adam Wilson forces a fumble on the ensuing kickoff, and Sneed throws a TD to Akem on the very next play. Late in the 4th, Nick Ostmo does his best Dan Moore impression with a short screen pass turned into a long TD reception to put the game away.
 
Griz continue to ride the wave of momentum, still feel like they have a lot to prove, no let down, ISU has already lost the mind game, everyone knows the griz are back and are ready to dominate the big sky once again. Griz dominate a dome team at home for homecoming. Griz 60-17 and all is right with the world.
 
If the Sagarin ranking calculator is used how I believe it is, we should open about 12-14 point favorites at home.

The Cats at Cal Poly should be 5-7 point favorites on the road using the same math.

Curious to see if Vegas uses that at all.

There's four former Griz coaches in that staff. JB Hall Jr. is there now and Dan Ryan is their strength and conditioning coach. He's from Big Timber and coached ok meet Hauck from 06-11 in Missoula and Vegas. Can guaranty they're going to want to prove them selves in the worst way for their first trip to Missoula in some time.

Worried that a team new to Griz worship may believe too many of their own press clippings. But confident Hauck will get them focused for the second half.
 
I look at this as a trap game after a huge road win. I see the game being much closer than anticipated and the Griz trailing briefly in the 3rd before they close it out in the fourth.

North Alabama was a trap game. Monmouth was a trap game. Now the Bungles too?? When will it end?

I think Bobby's too stubborn to allow a trap game! No trap here! Homecoming... big win... 40-50 point schellacing, with no foot off the gas! Go Griz!

Htown, it is a dangerous world out there. There are traps all over the place.

That said, hopefully it doesn't end until sometime in January. :ugeek:
