Griz Vacate the Field?

Several possible explanations:
1) Don't have much practice losing at WGS, so maybe they just forgot.
2) Team in total disarray, dissention rampant, team disintegrating, transfers imminent.
3) Jean Gee sent a letter to all Griz players telling them they would be considered to be receiving 'vicarious pleasure' from fans/boosters if they stayed on the field to sign autographs and shake hands.
4) Something else.

Actually, this shows there is still a fire in the heart of the Griz players.
Our Griz may just blindside the Cats. Sweet!

The team can do as it likes after a loss. I went straight to a saloon and did what I do. No one noticed. Stick around with your kids because we will win and stay on the field. Soon!

So the Griz left the building?

Conversely, I was a bit disappointed at the SUU game to see a number of Griz fans exiting the stadium with more than two minutes left on the game clock. I agree that the team should stay and talk with fans after either a win or loss (good lesson for the kids - have pride and show kindness regardless of a loss), but I used to take pride in the fact that "Griz fans never leave". It was clear we were not going to win the game, but that's not the point. Out of loyalty and respect, fans should stay till the end and applaud their team's efforts.
Differs very little from those who leave midway in the Second Quarter and return toward the middle of the third...

The Griz did song the fight song after the NAU game

They did indeed and I stood for the whole thing. That being said, I was surprised - it was the first time after a loss that I remember. And since I sit right next to the parents' section, I watch it every time.
