Griz v West Virginia on ESPN2

Slow start is killing us. The perimeter shots need to start falling being they are collapsing on Strait. Baskside is wide open when they trap. Let's hope to find the cracks/seems in their defense. Rebounding and Defense looking good after 1st 5 minutes. Come on GRIZ lets show the nation we were not a fluke last year by beating Nevada. :thumb:

One positive, Joselyn Tinkle getting major props, TOP 5 sophomore nationally!!!!!!! Damn
 
Well there obviously isn't gonna be a large griz contingency and being it's the inaugural tourney and honestly no real notable teams, the lack of turnout is not surprising.
 
Griz should have31 except for two missed bunnies. A little perimeter D would go a long ways!

They said the arena only seats 5,000, so there couldn't be that many people at the game anyways.
 
Speaking of perimeter game, What has happened to our perimeter shooting? Oh well, I hope we figure things out this next month. If not, it could be a disappointing season. I have no doubts that we are better than we are showing so far this year.
 
Wow, thank God basketball season doesn't start for UM until December...

This is flat out embarassing! No defense, poor shot selection, no boxing out, poor free throw shooting, can't make a 3...We look as bad as any team I have seen since Pat Kennedy! :shocked:

Is this really the same team that went to the NCAAs (minus 2 guards)???
 
This game just goes to show how much difference there is between top conferences and the Big Sky. Where's WV picked in the Big East? I read they lost four starters.

Jeez, they just said our opponents in all games are shooting 60% from behind the arc...

Rundles, Strait, Ellis, Hasquet are only players that showed up to play. Someone please chew some ARSE. Player or coach?
 
TAHNK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU RONBO....The difference b/w these mid-major conferences and powerhouse conferences is huge. I hate to say it but it's not that WV can't miss and the GRIZ are having an off night. THEY ARE BETTER! My score prediction was off as I predicted 82-74 but it's apparent to any college bball fan who wins this game.
