Griz v. NAU, Sac

We take a lot of 3 point shots. I wouldn't say that Montana is the first "team-style" team we have seen. I would argue, that's what PSU did, or tried to do. Heck, even EWU did that as Stucky was not the main feature against us, only because Freeman wasn't going to allow him to go 45 on us.

Time will tell. First things first and that's tonite's games. But I can't wait for Sat. night.

I hope the Sac team is as overconfident as the Sac posters appear to be. I think you will crush msu, but we don't play their style. Are you giving lots of points SacHornet and Kadeez??

Overconfident? No. Excited? Yes. What do you mean by "are we giving points?" Just curious.

I don't blame you for being excited, you should be. Look where your program was with Tom Abatemarco, the toilet. I was just trying to see if I could get you to give me some point spreads, not the Vegas line, to see what you guys really think.

I think you are favored by about 8 tonight. I think you cover easily.

Going to head for the game tonight. Hopefully the Griz come out and play some solid defense and don't let NAU jump out on them. We gotta watch out for those 3-point shooters for NAU as well. Should be a fun one, and I really hope that UM shows up and plays lights out. Maybe a little carryover from the 2nd half last Saturday. :thumb:

I posted this on Bobcatnation on Sunday I think: Sac 83 Cats 75

When it comes to Saturday I think it's going to be a very close game. However, you must take into consideration that we are getting Jason Harris back. For that reason I will guess : Sac 71 Griz 68

Getting Harris back is no guarantee that the team performs better than it has been. I don't think he will be in game shape, how could he be. I also think the rotation changes the continuity and flow that has been established. How do those players who now lose minutes to Harris respond? It may not be as seamless of transition as you think.

Also remember that Harris won't be the same factor as he normally would be. When KD came back last year after the same ordeal, he didn't start, only played about 20 minutes and only scored 9 points.

It's rather interesting though that it came exactly the same weekend last year, with Davis out against NAU, and his first game back against Sacramento.

ESPN'S BOX SCORE OF THE WEEK

Box score of the week
Jan. 12: Sacramento State 107, Idaho State 106. In regulation.
The Minutes wants to know: When was the last time you saw a home team shoot 65 percent, score 106 points ... and lose?

Give it up to the Sac State Hornets (40), seeking their first-ever NCAA Tournament bid. They're 4-0 in Big Sky Conference play and 13-5 overall, and sporting a sleek, kinetic, don't-mess-with-me Hornet logo. Complete with stinger.

What the hell does ISU have to do with this weekend? Dwelling on the past is a good way to get beat. By the way, your local paper says Harris grades are posted sometime between today and Tuesday of next week. Does he have his grades yet?

As of right now, I have not heard anything about his grades.

Second, I think we can beat MSU by 10. As for Sat. night, it will be close, come down to the end, but, I think we will win, 77-74.

I hope Harris is playing both games to be honest. I don't want to hear about not having the preseason player of the year if we win. Good luck tonight, I still say you win by 20, with or without Harris. Cats have Durham playing point and he is not a point guard. His backup is a kid they just took off redshirt, he will mess up the floor if they play him. I think you will score a ton off turnovers.

On Durham's radio show, he didn't think that Harris would be eligible for Thursday's game, but thought that (if he passed his classes) he would be back by Saturday's game against UM.

Personally I would rather play SAC state with Harris. Thier team is on a roll right now, and getting him back might mess up their chemistry a little bit.
