Griz v. Cats

AMAZING! I cannot believe they squeaked this one out. Boy did they escape.

Next Saturday is going to be fun...or miserable.

Griz win and the old colors look good....now the real competition is going to be in Missoula next week..ugh, another game with no "announcers"...

Another great win Griz! Great crowd and noise. Had the Cats played D like that all season they would have a much better record, and of course making all those crazy shots didnt hurt tonight either?

The Griz were one foul shot from losing this game tonight in regulatiion. Yes the Griz did better in the overtime. So the Lady Cats beat the Lady Griz and the Griz men beat the Cats men. Things are changing in this state in basketball and football! The Bobcats are taking over!

I think we might want to wait until the end of the season before making brash comments.

And the Cats were one foul shot from losing this game in regulation too...

Seriously...thank you master of the bleeding obvious :P
It was a tie game at the end of regulation. Both teams were only 1 point away from winning.

Not sure the majority of your men's BB fans will agree with you there... If they were doing so well and "taking over" Huse wouldn't be on the hot seat.

Cats shot lights out today, which you have to admit is not a common thing for them. Maybe they've turned a corner and will finish high up in the Big Sky standings this year...or maybe they just shot lights in a game they really got pumped up for (rivalry) and will slip back to the norm... who knows. I think it's a little early though to say the Bobcats are taking over... in fact I'd say it's a little early to say that for Football too.

The cats are taking over?? not in hoops........men's bb attendance is down, the coach is facing unemployment and the cats have a losing record. Pretty strange definition of "taking over."

Just back from the game.....I live in the toolies :) Throwback shorts were ugly, the cats played really well (still lost though :P ) and I think we will see a new starting five for the Griz. I suspect Coleman is in and Hutch is out. Coleman started the second half instead of Hutch. It sure seems Hutch almost has a panic attack when he gets the ball inside. He simply does not score. I really like Coleman's defense too. I think Wayne is going to have to commit to small ball. The Griz are extremely quick when playing small ball and they are also far more effective offensively when running. I think this is the only way to compete with Weber.

Do you think the game would be in overtime if the Cats had not played better basketball to this point?

I think this is the best game the Bobcats have played in over five years; against anyone.

Hats off to the cats for shooting lights out. Im liking Weisner in the clutch. Will had no business getting that T and sitting. His head clearly was somewhere else.
