Griz Uniforms for Homecoming?

Judging by stadium attendance in the 3rd quarter of games in recent years - I'd say it isn't all that important. :idea: :twisted:
 
I've assumed that the return to standard uniforms only was some sort of 'we are going to worry about exactly one thing' mentality.

Actually, the Griz' current uniform style IS extremely similar to the 2001 look. I'm not sure you even know what the Griz' current uniforms look like if you don't think they look simple and class. They are the exact definition of simple and classy. Maroon tops with Montana across the front and the Griz Paw logo on the sleeves. That's it. That's all there is on their tops. The road white tops are the exact same in reverse. The pants are the EXACT style they've worn for years. All silver with the Griz Paw on the front thigh. That's it. That's all there is on them. Maroon and white pants are the exact same. Again, if you are thinking otherwise, you must not have even watched a game yet this season or last.

Well, kinda sort of... If you look at the maroon away pants closer they have a dumb maroon stripe down the sides.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that is a change in material for breathability.

Our official school colors are copper, gold, and silver. Our spirit colors are maroon and silver, with optional gold highlights.

Few years ago they went with that some people referred to as the "ice white" look with all white uniforms & replaced the maroon griz helmet logo & faceguard with white. In recent years they have gone with the outline of MT on the helmets. So although it may be considered minor, they have done different things for the road cat/GRIZ games.

100% that’s what it is. Same with the backs of the jerseys up where the name plates usually are. Designed for breathability.

I as only referring to Gresch’s number because he’s been #2 since they handed it to him. I have no idea if there’s anything special for homecoming.
