GRIZ/UND game thread

5 turnovers this half... ball goes through Hutch's hands. 10 turnovers on the game now for the Griz.

UND has a 3 second call on the other end. Griz miss a shot on the other end. Huff gets a quick one, Griz down by 9. 47-38.

Lots and lots of whistles.. Not watching it on Big Sky TV (Verizon's 4g = dialup speed peak hours) are these ticky tack fouls?
 
Another turnover FFS...

Dunn with a bucket after the Griz got the ball back though, he has 13. Huff with a slam on the other end after going by Weisner it sounds like. Griz down by 10.
 
Montana is simply not very good....nor is ND....but UM says they have the best talent. That might be true but it is not being demonstrated, game after game...This is one year I hope they do not make the NCAA tourney. Another huge blow out would probably result in even worse teams in the future. Sad to say...
 
Jamar up to 11 points now after a couple buckets. A couple good defensive stops for the Griz in a row now (two turnovers for UND). Sloppy second half with UND having 6 turnovers this half and the Griz having 7 it sounds like.

Another turnover for the Griz, up to 8 turnovers this half and Huff with a dunk on the fast break. 59-48 UND up.

DeShields with a layup on the other end and is fouled. 59-50 with 8:20 to go in the game.
 
Jamar is single handedly carrying this team in the second half.

Three pointing shooting is dead for a team that usually specializes in it.

The camera just focused on the UM bench...looks like the assistant coaches are clueless and have thrown in the towel. They look defeated...that might be half the problem for Griz hoops... I know that is blasphemy, but I have to look at coaches...
 
15 Turnovers now for the game... 10 this half.

Griz down by 10 with 5:22 to go after a bucket by Dunn. He has 15 points.
 
Another turnover... 11 this half. Not something the Griz usually have trouble with.

Turnovers coming from players who are usually pretty damn good at taking care of the ball for how many minutes they get. Jamar has 5 turnovers, Gregory with 4 and DeShields with 3.

3:55 to go, Griz down by 11 71-60.
 
Sorry I haven't been following basketball that closely, but why are we without an inside presence? Did we have a big guy get injured?
