I dont give a shit what anybody like G2K or the other haters say....we came out flat, dug out of a 15 point hole and won a tough game. UNC played very well and fought till the very end. Outside of the first 12 mins of the first half we played a very solid game. Its understood that we dont have a center and are going to usually get out rebounded but still, we are 6-0, 4-0 on the road in conf! People harp on the fact that we get dominated in the paint but this is going to happen alot but we over come that with great guard and small forward play. This was a great win despite what G2K says and what BV will say when he figures out this was INDEED a road game and makes his way back from the adams center.

Despite what I say? What does that even mean? I wanted the Griz to win and they did. So sorry to offend all of you by being upset that they were losing badly to a very below average team.

Pretty sure it means even thought u said at halftime it was "pathetic" and we should be "thumping" this team...its a good win DESPITE what u thought early on. I would hope your happy with the win, but your mid game statement i find it hard to beleive u would be happy with anything but a blow out

2k, you didn't offend anyone. It's just that BB games on the road are rarely blowouts. UNC shot the hell out of the ball today. The Griz were on the tail end of a 1000 mile, 8-leg trip, or whatever the hell it is. Games like this happen EVERY DAY in college basketball. The key is to win them, and this team is doing JUST that. Enjoy the ride.

Agreed Everett. I am certainly enjoying it. I enjoy every victory. I live and die Grizzly athletics and when I see them struggling against a team they should be beating I tend to get a bit ticked off.

The official attendance was 355. It looks everyone stayed home to watch the Broncos play the worst pass D in the history of the NFL and lost to Baltimore 38-35 in 2OT. The Ray Lewis farewell tours lasts one more week.

:thumb: pretty awesome seeing a living legend make one last run....i dont even like baltimore but i love greatness, so i will be rooting for them...if its them and teh seahawks in the superbowl it will be a game time descision since i dont ever really root for either team....kinda adopted seattle this year mid season though......man i love ray!

mtgrizrule....saw you in the stands. Griz are a good looking ball club. Looked like there were 50 people there, although, someone said there were 350.

No problem here becker. Yes the bears were playing good and yes I was bashing the Griz a bit. I just know they're a better team than how they started. They finished strong and that's what counts.

And just to justify our actions, here's what BV said Thursday:

Griz showed a lot of poise today, and Will and Kareem were leaders. Weisner and Coleman should earn more PT.

However, UNC is a weak team, and if the Griz fall asleep against a good team like they did in the first half, it'll be curtains.

Even though UNC is fairly weak, Barden is a nice-looking player. I wish he played for us.

There are a lot of good players in our conference. They may be surrounded by low-DI talent, but there are one or two players on just about every BSC team who could play for most teams in the country.
