GRIZ/UCLA thread

Their color guy just refuses to give MT any credit whatsoever. Sheesh, could it be that MT is just better than you think they are?
 
Color guy before commercial: "Honeycutt, of superior talent, rises up . . ." Now I really am glad the Grizzlies destroyed UCLA.
 
Color guy is now making excuses for the Bruins, saying even top 10 teams have games like this that they "just aren't into."
 
that questionable call was a bad call. That should have been hoop and harm for Cherry. 2 bad calls so far by officials.

Yeah, it was questionable, for sure. I don't know if it was blantant but they didn't really go into depth on the replay, either.
 
Where has Wood been all year? That shot was unreal too. He has more ability than I thought. Now I see why Tinkle has been sticking with him.
 
I dont really understand how well we can play against big time teams the last few years, but we have lots of let downs against weaker teams? We need to learn how to bring it every night and not have let downs like the other night. This team can play ball!

+1. I think it all comes down to Free Throws. They gotta get better and they will win the games they are expected to.
 
I like how the Grizzlies have just kept the pedal to the metal tonight, and not really let up. They haven't lost concentration, except at the free throw line. That seems to be their Achilles heel. They need a lot of work there. When teams fall behind them late in games, they'll know the Griz are vulnerable in the foul shooting dept.
 
Peaux is sooooo right. The UCLA analyst REFUSED to give Montana any credit. But I did LOVE this quote from the PBP guy:

"They (the GRIZ) are dominating. They are DOMINATING, Johnny Mac".


Suuuuuuuwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttttttt"!!!!!!!
