Griz Tv Schedule 2012

I am stoked for this many games on tv, and hope rest them can be on viewed online.

As for bigsky tv, I believe all the current subscriber agreements expire sometime in June or July this year. So whatever the changes are, we will have to make changes, maybe even paying for Bigsky tv? See below the date of expiration is July 1, 2012.

Update, I just copied this from Bigsky tv.
Available Packages

If you do not see video when you launch the player, ensure you meet all the System Requirements

Package Expires Length Access
Big Sky All Access Pass 7/1/2012 Free Live + VOD

Yeah, I knew there was an expiration, and after a few years of free access, I figure it's only a matter of time before they make us pay. Honestly, it's worked flawlessly for me now for the last two years, so I really don't mind paying a little something. Guess it depends on exactly how much it is.

Does anybody have any facts that can back any of this or is it just rumorville?
No official press release yet but this does come from a person who should be in the know. Maybe Kpax will decide to bid on the games that Root is not going to air but I cant imagine it will be for the same amount of money as they had to pay Um in the past for each game.

NO MONEY can be made on these 4 games

a little back door buyers market going on here. Neither max media nor kpax want to be too anxious on this.
Neither has a contract with the Griz or Kittys that Fullerton and the BSC didn't turn null and void.
Both have been paying more than premium for the last few years contracts. They both realize the advertisers won't pony up near the going rate of years past, so the BSC & the two schools will dang near have to give away the broadcast rights in order for either station to try to just almost break even on the broadcast cost.

IF any of the non ROOT games get televised it will be by the GOOD WILL of the station. More for what they can hope for, as loyalty from their viewers than what they hope to gain monetarily!

The biggest hurdle is that UofM wants to insist on a package deal that will include the App State game which would be a logistics nightmare for a local Montana station to broadcast without having to pay east coast rent for the broadcast equipment and personel and that hasn't worked out so well for them in the past.

Looks like the only solution to this issue is to attend all the games. What about channels like CW? Anyone know anything about them? Are they just local broadcasts in Montana? I know they try and carry two or three Cat and Griz games each year.

MTN > Montana Television Network has televised Griz Games for the last decade or so.

cw and kpax are the same people > MTN

Don't be overly surprised if Max Media takes over the left over Griz games
and abandons the pOOr kittens :P
