Griz to the NCAA tournament, Maybe 13th seed?

I say 13th seed is a good possibility, though 14th maybe more likely. 12th seed I consider unlikely due to the Grizzly's strength of Schedule.

Before this game, Griz were ranked 68th in RPI. Strength of schedule rank had Griz at 194.

I figure Griz will be ranked upper 60s or lower 50s for RPI. Strength of Schedule likely won't change much.

I checked the predicted Bracket on collegerpi.com, and all the RPIs of the teams seeded 12th, 13th, and 14th.

When comparing the RPI and SOS (Strength of Schedule) of the Griz and the teams this guy has at 12, 13, and 14th seeds, 13th seed really looks like a possibility for the Griz. At 12th seed, all the teams had better strength of schedule, so unlikely Griz will be seeded there. 14th seed is likely the worst the Griz will be seeded unless the selection committee shows complete lack of respect for the Griz.

But, if those guys or gals who bought tickets to Salt Lake City, better hope Griz are at 13th or 14th. www.collegerpi.com Salt Lake City hosting the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th seeds in the Atlanta and Oakland Regional brackets.

If Griz happen to be put in the Minneapolis or Washington, DC regional brackets then you miss watching the Griz. I sure hope Montana is seeded in the Atlanta or Oakland Regionals just for your sake. But, since I can't go, I will be happy to watch Montana play whoever, whereever.

Go Griz!!!!!!! Get that 13th seed.

Lunardi has the 2,7,10, and 15 of DC bracket and 4,5,12,13 of Atlanta bracket in Salt Lake City. He also had NAU as a 15 in Dallas.

you would think we would get a better seed than NAU, so 14 is lookin like the number, but could be determined if they want us in SLC or something

I guess you will have to wait this sunday to see who has the most accurate prediction of the bracket.

The guy (Jerry Palm) that administers www.collegerpi.com has been pretty accurate. Last year, 55 of 65 seeds within 1 seed of actual seed. About 85% accuracy.

Depending on how the conference championships turn out I expect we'll be a 14 seed, 13 if there's some big upsets in the smaller brakets. Looking at the middle of the top 25, I expect we could be playing one of these teams;
