I am trying to transfer tickets from my phone wallet. The transfer has been "pending" since last night. Anyone else have this happen or know what I ought to do?
That's why I print at home. The link can be emailed to another party,

You can also send a pdf of the print at home Tix for another person to print with the print at home option. 👍

You transferring to someone else? If so they need to accept the transfer, they click on the link sent to them and then must sign in to their Griztix account and accept.

They have not received a link.

If you had the link sent by email tell them to check their spam folder otherwise, cancel the transfer and start again.

The link will be sent via email or text depending on which one you enter.

There's no excuse for UM bungling ticket sales, given that they host multiple events at different venues. I understand that this is a super big Griz deal, but it's still just and event for which tickets are sold.

Does anyone know if the bank of tickets reserved for students actually sold out? It's finals week. The 3k tickets set aside for students is enough for roughly a a third of the university's full time students. That seems like a lot of participation by a student population ready to hit the road for winter break.

I downloaded the tickets to my iphone. Then, I followed the instructions in the email for transferring them. And nothing has happened since then except for a message that "one or more tickets is pending transfer." The tickets continue to show up in my digital wallet.

Missoulian article just went up stating that there were only 2000-3000 tickets to sell and the demand was nuts. They also mentioned no BOTS as well

Sounds like alot of people snagged their season tickets compared to the other griz home games.

Either way should be a packed house

The system worked flawlessly when Pink tickets went on sale. You were placed in a queue and waited your place in line. You could actually watch your little walking person progress until you were asked if you wanted to enter the site. Should have used the same thing when football tickets went on sale to the public. It would have stopped any non-human from buying tickets.

They did do that, from what I saw. I had two different browsers open. I initially went in with one and at 5PM clicked in and it took a minute to resolve, but once I did I got the tickets I wanted. I had another browser open to see if I could get in any quicker with that (yeah, yeah...) and that one got placed in the queue/waiting room. I just closed it all out once I got my tickets.

I bought additional tickets outside of my season tickets and went straight through with my account.

Once the other person accepts the transfer, it should disappear

But the other person has received no notice of the transfer....

Happened to me once earlier in the year. I cancelled it and resent it and it worked. For Delaware game, I had a person that did not want digital tickets. Went to the fieldhouse and had them printed off.

Did you transfer the tickets from your GrizTix account to your phone's Google Wallet and are now trying to transfer from there? Maybe that's the hang up? I always transfer direct from my GrizTix account to the other parties and then put just my own ticket in my Google Wallet.

Could be. I don't know. No way to go back from the digital wallet now.

Copy it and text it to them. It's pretty simple.

Screenshots work as well

Probably. I don't think the bar/QR code changes every few minutes on Griz tickets like it does at some events, but I can't remember if the ticket takers make you swipe to make sure it's not a screenshot. At two NFL games this year, I had to show my ticket to get back into our section. I had a screenshot because the real tix were on my wife's phone, and she was in the seats. It worked once, but another time the dude asked me to swipe to make sure it wasn't a screenshot. When he saw a pic of my dog, he told me no go.

My advice (if the code doesn't change) if you want to use screenshots, put the screenshots in their own photo album on your phone. Not a WaGriz-specific tip, of course.

Screenshots of tix work fine to get in. I've done it that way multiple times.
