How many years have fans been complaining about not being able to get tickets easily. It’s never been easier to automate this process as it is now in 2023. It’s a complete failure by whoever is in charge.

100% bots at work. I can go on to StubHub and get 8 or more tickets together on numerous rows and sections throughout the stadium.
 
The entire situation is a crime to Griz football fans. A similar situation happened as Montana folks tried to buy P!nk tickets. Big companies with strong bots buy off tickets and then try to resell at inflated prices. Griz tix may want to find filtering systems to prevent this from happening in the future.

I just got off the phone with a Griz fan living in Spokane. She is far from wealthy. She attempted to get tickets today and they were gone from Griz Tix. Secondary sellers bought off tickets and are now doubling the cost of a ticket. My friend was in tears.

Great way to treat a longtime Griz fan.
 
If the bots don’t resell the tickets, then maybe University management can let people in for free to fill those empty seats?

There aren’t nearly enough tickets for sale on secondary sites to believe that bots purchased all the tickets. If that were the case there’d be thousands of tickets available in those sites rather than the hundreds that are available.

According to brint though, there are currently thousands of them on those sites
 
And NCAA doesn’t care they get their cut even if bots paid the bills and UM can claim 27000 in attendance even though seats will be empty after those tickets go unsold due to price and people not making plans since don’t have tickets in hand. Who it hurts are real fans and the team.
 
i was ready at 4:59. I ended up having to buy off stub hub, 4 tickets $120 each with $40 + fee for each one. total over $600. what a damn shame they can't get dedicated griz fans in the site to buy tickets at a reasonable price. pretty upset.
 
Keep trying--I had been trying unsuccessfully to buy 2 tickets since 5:15--on 2 or 3 attempts I had them picked out and then they somehow disappeared from my cart--technical problems I guess ?

I finally was able to buy the 2 tickets about 7:20 after two hours--I agree that GRIZ Tix should work a lot more smoothly, as I rarely have two hours to spend online trying to buy something.

Go GRIZ !!!
 
I'm thinking there was exceptional demand from real humans on this one. After season ticket holders there only may have been 7-9k seats available, so with a favorable time slot and decent weather... I'm not convinced bots came in and swooped up ten thousand tickets. It'll be full

Don’t buy from those sites right now. Wait til Friday and prices will go down. They won’t eat the entire ticket costs. You might end up getting them cheaper than $35. I have bought tickets for less than face value for shows at Kettlehouse on day of show. If they drop buy a bunch resell to Griz fans at cost.

Cat Griz tix dropped rapidly last couple days on Stubhub.

That doesn't explain the "thousands" available almost immediately for inflated prices on other sites.

Disclaimer: I'm really not certain how many were available in secondary market but it sounds like a lot?
