Griz @ spuds

I agree this has “trap game” written all over it. I have a feeling some Vandal will have a career night shooting the basketball, but our overall defense will be strong enough for us to prevail.

The final of the Lady Griz/Idaho game was 69-60 in favor of UM. Abby Anderson and McKenzie Johnston each had 16 points (Johnston played all 40 minutes) and Gabi Harrington had 14 off the bench.
 
I think this was one of Shannon’s “hits” in this “hit or miss” season. Good substitutions today unlike the Cat game. Ladies played very unselfish. Even had Taylor G. and Gabbie in during crunch time with great results. Time will tell but they’re definitely on the upswing. Also nice to watch a game where the refs let a basketball game happen.
 
At certain point, it’s got to be tough for Idaho to get up for games, they don’t have much to play for at this point. I think the Griz are a better, more focused team than they were early in the conference season. Idaho has some good players, I see this as an 8-12 point win for the Griz.

BTW, the ESPN win predictor is awful. No way in hell the Griz finish 3-6 over the last 9, especially with some of the tougher opponents left playing in Missoula.
 
Game time...........we should have a solid officiated game. Vern Harris is a damn good official. He is 1 of the refs this game. Let's hope, he makes a positive difference in officiating.

But we’re not everybody’s Super Bowl.
