Griz Softball

Yes, but you offer men's skiing as well, no?

And yes, the campus M to F ratio does matter. But I would think that MSU would be getting very close to needing to add a women's only sport to stay compliant.

It might be? I'm sure MSU is getting more females, but I don't think it is enough to change the TitleIX ratio, yet? If the above rumor is true. Wresting would be about 10 and soccer is 14.

That was kinda my question I guess. How close is MSU to needing to add a womens sport? Does the UofM have room to add a mens sport with the addition of softball?
If soccer is around 14 and softball around 15(idk) then is Montana offering 29 more scholarships to females???

Currently if Montana offers the full allotment of schollies, it's about 105 for the men and 103 for the women. Depending on the M/F ratio, it will have to be a women's sport, especially with a jump to FBS where we get another 20 schollies to offer to the men.

No, softball was added primarily due to Title IV reasons. The ratio of females at UM was a little over 50%, so they needed to afforded more scholarships. As Bama says, we'll need to add another women's sport when we go FBS.

I got 93 male and 85 female. MSU is 99 male and 66 female.

Your right, my bad. I counted T&F AND CC. Didn't notice they share schollies. Even more likely it will be a female sport.

So 0.9 girls for each guy @ UM vs. 0.67 girls for each guy @ MSU.
Whadya know, we win again
Unless you're measuring per pound

If MSU does not have womens soccer or softball , what sports do they offer females for title nine compliance?
Heifer grazing
Morning Home-walking.

Football team condolences counseling, they are currently the 4x reigning champions......

They have consistantly placed all americans in categories such as:

Deflating Champ in the 3rd quarter
Shoveling and Salting the "Trail of Tears"
Photoshoping & Marketing

And the BIG ONE- Charging 10$ to park in a mud-hole

When I first read this, for some reason I envisioned a stay-at-home mom going for her morning walk. Then I realized that is not at all what you meant.

At the varsity level they call it the walk of shame.
