Agree. I think that why we shouldn’t go too heavy in the portal this time around. Maybe 4 or 5 players, leave some room for the blow out in December when people are throwing away seniors because of the 5th year rule.

We don’t need another teams garbage.
 
Instagram is where it's at for teenage girls and young adult women. X is where it's at for teenage boys and young adult men when they arent trying to talk to their counterparts on Instagram.

I would say a defense makes a goal keeper good, but a good goal keeper can save a defense. I think in the case of the Griz, it was both were good. Varies year to year, but 50/50 is probably the closest answer.

Weber state loses:
94% of their goals
48%of their assists

Weber state loses their goal scorers, wide threats basically their attacking punch but keep their back line and starting keeper.

EWU loses:
90% of their goals
76% of their assists

EWU loses their goal scorers, starting keeper, most of their back line, and midfield spine.

Are they all officially announced yet? 20 pages and I have lost some of the recruits. Can someone better at this and much smarter than me post the recruits and transfers when they are all "official" please?

The only transfer not yet officially announced is a forward from the UK who Coach Gore talked about at a scholarship fund-raiser a couple of weeks ago. He gave the name that night as Megan Sofield, who played for Arizona State as a freshman, then transferred to Grand Canyon U. Don't know if she competed for GCU in spring soccer - but must be back in the portal.

Her name has not been mentioned since, but hopefully she will be in Missoula. She is a scorer for the Manchester United U-21 team.
 
So can somebody make a list of who we know of that's currently committed? The only 2 I know of are the Arkansas State defender and the USC Upstate goalie. Then there's the rumblings of the GCU girl but nothing concrete there. Anyone else?

There is a few more in the works, press release will get done once the portal is complete. Also very underwhelming picks up from the other schools in the conference.

This is what someone extremely close to the transfer recruiting previously posted. Only three known position signings so far.

Megan Sofield recently removed “GCU Soccer” from her instagram profile, and she no longer appears on the GCU 2026 roster.

Strong indicators that she is the P4 striker mentioned above.
