Ok I’ve been doing so digging on Heeb. Got injured at West Georgia was there starting keeper. Started at Upstate had shutouts but then was bench. The coach was the removed before the half way point in the season because of his political views and her father is a police officer in the Atlanta area, so maybe there was conflict with the coach because of that maybe.

Watching her highlight film from club (yes, yes I know things can change) she looks fearless and good with her feet. Plus are we forgetting we have one of the best goalkeeper coaches in the country in J Landham!

Yes it’s HS but she won three 5A Region Championships (2022-2024)… Named to the all-state team and 5A player of the year three times (2022-2024)…Named to the all-region team four times (2021-2024)

Sometimes a change of sene is good. Maybe Coach Gore tried to recruit her while at Troy. Giving up 8 goals to Louisville is more of an indictment on her team and defense units.

Curious why not bring in a 5th year and did Gore get striker.

I think Chris is just picking up players for the sake of it. Seems a lot of starters left Colorado state and he picked the center back that didn’t really play. Same thing with this girl Oregon were awful and she couldn’t get on the field at all. Just get bodies in and then just cut them if they’re not good enough. He’s always been a coach that likes quantity over quality.

You will see him make a big deal they got a P4 player.

could imply there top CB/Holding mid transfers weren’t interested in coming to Montana. Still a lot of players in the portal. Can anyone confirm the ASU/GCU striker is coming. Weird no announcement still
 
Hey all! You’ll be able to guess who this is. Just wanted to jump on here and say I love all you guys. Your passion, dedication and desire everything Griz soccer is unmatched. The portal has been very active, had some hits and also misses, which is apart of the process.

It’s about getting the right players not just any players. We’re be young but once along time ago (1995) a former professional player turned TV pundit said about Manchester United “you can’t win anything with kids” well they went onto win the FA Cup and the Premier League. There will always be a method to the madness!

Current recruiting visits would be for the 2027 class - or more likely players from the portal who can still talk with coaches, make visits and negotiate scholarships as long as they were officially entered in the portal by May 15th - as indications are the Griz are still looking one or two experienced players to help lead the talented freshmen and sophomores this fall.

Say a state that the December was 80 percent freshman with little to no playing time. Wonder what the ratio is for the May Portal.

Both EWU and ISU lost starters to the portal and ISU lost several players during spring season due to injuries.
