I'm not too impressed with dunking anymore. Most teams can dunk like that. As much as we're all impressed with the athleticism of this team, realistically we're probably just getting up to speed in the game of college basketball.
Besides, the guy who has changed the game of basketball can barely dunk--Steph Curry. His game is his handle (he is absolutely incredible with his off-left hand; this is what most impresses the veterans of the game) and of course his three-point shooting. These are talents he has assiduously developed over the years, and what every player is scrambling to emulate--but you won't see these on a short video like this.
The downside of your Idol steph is that young kids are trying to emulate steph and not working on basics.
I'm tired of seeing 3-8th grade kids pulling up for threes and shooting airballs. Also can't stand to watch a kid dribble for ten seconds thinking they are amazing when none of their dribble moves are even creating an advantage, the defender can just stand in front of him.
If you are the tallest kid on floor get your ass under the basket quit shooting 5ft behind the arc
No team can be successful with out
* a pg who can create for others and himself
*a big that can score and play defense
* a wing with a scores mentality
* and a couple selfless players who do the dirty work ,the little things.
