The second season of Griz football under head coach Bob Stitt officially opens next week, with the players reporting for fall camp on Sunday, Aug. 7, and the team taking the field for the first time on Tuesday, Aug. 9.
Fans will have two opportunities to catch the Grizzlies in action before the season's opening kickoff against Saint Francis on Sept. 3.
The first of the Grizzlies' three scrimmages is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 15 at 4:00 p.m. in what is slated to be the first practice on the new turf inside Washington-Grizzly Stadium. The Griz will also scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 9:00 a.m. Both events are open to the public
