Josh Horner will be back this year

The same kid from Great Falls that signed in 2013 that went out and played like a stud in the summer all star games and then decided not to attend UM last fall? If so, that is a nice addition. I believe he had some lingering injury (foot?) and decided he couldn't play.

Tonight in GF Delaney made no mention of Harper but did Bo Harris and Hagfors. he said a home town player who left the program will return but couldn't say who

Home town player... As in Missoula home town? Spencer Hale or Jesse Ginn... Don't think Jesse is coming back, but who knows...

I dont know the games they play, but it sounds good overall. I was ready to sign up for the griz and sign up run my head against against the wall for him. I am so rooting for Mick. No worries. I am all hopped up on Smoke Jumper Scotch Ale from Mighty Mo Brewing company here in Great Falls. I recommend any of the microbrews here in the Grand Funk. The Front, Bowsers, or Mighty Mo. We even have Harvest Moon in Belt which finally came out with a new brew. Loch and Loaded Scotch Ale. Better than the Helena Backcountry Scotish Ale, but not as good as the Mountain Man from the Front and not quite as good as the gold standard Cold Smoke from Kettle House. Big Sky had a Heavy Horse at one time, but no one quite has the Kettlehouse/Front recipe down yet.

It would take an act of God to get Jesse Ginn back to school. During the last spring scrimmage he was very honest with me as to why he is no longer a GRIZ. It has nothing to do with legal issues, the team, or coaches. It was his personal decision. Sounds like he is comfortable with his decision too and doing well driving truck for the ND oil projects. I can tell he has no regrets and likes the freedom he regained. Cannot fault the kid, like him I realized not all people are cut out for college. He'll do just fine either way. :thumb:

I know...release a safety valve for your Q.B. that will be behind a young "O" line. :roll: The guy showed burst and the ability to get separation. He was also very "heady" around the red zone. His hands were rock solid also. Man, this Saylor must be a phenom ...huh? I hope MD didn't push in his chips on the "your mommy and daddy" can pony up the rest theory ? How is not offering a kid as much scholarship as he wanted or thought he'd been promised "showing him the door"?

There has to be more than "I thought I deserved more scholarship money. Because of didn't, I'm leaving the team."

I don't for one minute believe Harper left because of the scholarship issue. I'm curious to see if he is enrolled in school this summer. I would really be surprised if he "cleaned out his locker" for the reasons being stated on this board. Jordan is a good kid from a good family and liked by teammates.
Yes I believe Horner is returning to play for the Griz....I saw and talked to him a little while back and IMO he needed some time to just gel a bit. Nice kid :thumb:

Home town, as in Great Falls, Brint. It is good news and a nice addition to the team. I'll let the family or coach announce on their schedule.
