The cats are built for playoff football. Their lines are exceptional.

Their running game is elite, and their QB is good enough despite the shit we throw at him.

Wait. You mean a former Dline FBS coach knows how to build linemen? :D

yep...their front seven are very good. It's gonna take a year or 2 more for the Griz to get to this level.

Griz skill positions mixed with cat linemen would produce a Natty...

Roberts has been good but having Akem would have been a plus.

Here's the deal. I am in a foul mood. If you folks can't stop acting like little back-biting bitches I am going to start handing out time outs. Might be for a day a week or a month. Grow up. The enemy is wearing blue, not maroon.

A pick six to start the second half will help your mood... :)

I keep praying for a turnover but haven't gotten my wish yet.

pray harder.

On it!!!!! :thumb:

So, second half adjustments:

Take one of the DBs out and get another linebacker or lineman in. The cats are blowing us off the line.

Samari Toure: where’s he at? Time to let the dude feast on this secondary

Lastly, we have got to find a way to force turnovers. Plural.

gap, there is so much movement they cannot over pursue. sure the cats are covering their blocks well, i get that. calhoun is getting beat almost every play, has made one nice play at the end of the half.
hope he or the griz can shore this up.

If I was them, I would go after Calhoun every single play. If he plays good, he gets flagged. If he's timid because of that, he gets owned.

They don't need to with their ground game...

No reason to throw if you can get 7 yds every time you run it.

I've got to go watch the Vandals take on the Titans of NAU. I trust that ESPN will notify my when the Griz make a comeback. Get at it guys!

A healthy Sneed would have made a huge difference. He just isn't able to scramble and pick up a first down with his feet or find an open receiver on the run.

They certainly don’t. Everyone is hacking on Calhoun. The kid stepped into the position because he was unselfish and knew that is where the team needed him. He wasn’t recruited for defense. I appreciate his effort and look forward to the day when the Griz have a strong secondary.

This thread (which never fails to disappoint) has broken through some new ground today.

Well done, boys. You’ve outdone yourself...lol

Nope, once they hit the hole, it's over since the 2 safeties are playing on the line anyway.

Remember the 22 point lead we had last year?

It’s not impossible. Gotta stop trying to score 15 points every possession.

It's been world class today

To make it worse, every year we know the Cats will run the ball, yet we continue to struggle to control their running game!!!!
