Unless I missed something, no Tinkle on local radio (KGVO or 101.5) either. KGVO had Art Bell talking about spacemen. 101.5 was broadcasting non-stop commercials. :x

I am pretty sure Selvig had at least six turnovers. He did this earlier in the season but had displayed better decision making and taking care of the ball in recent games. Hopefully, this game will be the exception. Otherwise, a very nice second half by the Griz. I am also seeing an expanding role for Autry. He looked good tonight! :thumb:

Hey BigSkyBears, the 639 for our game was at Sac State not a home game. The ladies were at home and drew 2701. He was not putting up the numbers of a home Men's Griz Game. As a conference we have got to get numbers up.

BSB, I tend to take your side on the UNC bashing that takes place on this site. But you didn't do yourself any favors with this post. Had this game been in Missoula, my hunch is that it would have outdrawn all of the other BSC games combined. As Triwest pointed out, the Lady Griz damn near accomplished that.

The are blog posts by the Missoulian beat writer, and the Griz announcer, upset at Montana's low attendance for a game against an NAIA team, wondering what is wrong with the fan base. The attendance for that game was 2641, 50% higher than the numbers you are pounding your chest over, yet it is seen as an embarrassment, and an indictment of the current marketing of the program and the fan base. Maybe that will help you to understand the expectations at Montana, and why many people get disturbed about being in a conference where our conference mates thump their chest over pathetic attendance numbers. Many of us are concerned that the schools in the conference are dragging the Griz down to your level, and we really don't want to go there.

Yeah we do, but its not just the Big Sky, I mean Idaho hosted you guys one of thier oldest rivals and former conf foe and only drew 900ish, Lousisana Monroe and UNC only drew 775, Fullerton played you guys in front of 722, and And Irvine drew a wopping 379 against MSU. Its also tough when 2 BSC teams play in gyms that hold less than 2,000. NAU plans on building a 5,000 seat basketball arena which will be good for them, better in opinion than the Skydome. All it takes is winning to get attendance up.
