ESPN reports that the Griz (along with EWU & Idaho) are reportedly interested in Pullman H. S. forward/wing Corey Langerveld.

Langerveld is a mobile 6-6 wing with good ball-handling skills & a very quick post-up move who averaged 17 ppg. for the Pullman H. S. Greyhounds last season, finishing as Great Northern League mvp.

Here's a video highlight from his 2012 season: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEjFWEmlbkY" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Nice find, thank you.

Wayne absolutely loves 6'3" to 6'7" combo SG/SF types. Then again, versatility helps with any team.

Lets see.......Tinks already has a verbal from the Colfax shooter, we know he is actively recruiting for a point guard, and now a 6-6 wing....and he only has two seniors, therefore two schollys to fill....Hmmmmmm.

I wouldn't read to much into our interest in this kid. It was probably before we offered and got a commit from the Gfeller kid. I am thinking Tinks and co. will push hard to get a PG locked up in the early signing season. After that they will likely stay in touch with a few kids and look at some JC guys just in case an extra scholly were to open up in the spring.
