I have been told the Griz have offered James Albright from Fremont high school in Oakland CA. . I have been following Albright since the summer because the Cat's are also recruiting him. He is listed at 6-6 to 6-7, and he can play both the wing and the post. He is a very athletic player, and the only player I can think of to describe is Derrick Pope ish (for those old coots who remember that former Griz great). His recruiting has exploded this winter and he holds offers from UC Davis, Idaho, Wyoming, Portland State, Montana, and Montana State, but is in contact with San Diego, Pepperdine, Colorado State, Tulsa, TCU, Fresno State, Idaho State, and the list continues to grow. His size had slowed his recruiting, but now a lot of schools are looking past that. He is averaging about 22.3 points 12 rebounds 2 blocks and over 50% from the field. He can shoot from 20-25 feet.
