Griz Recruit Gus Chase and Sheridan College

Sheridan College had their season ended today in Hucthinson with a loss to Jan Jancinto College out of Texas 90-66. I know we sure will miss him.

I think Gus had 16 points and 7 rebounds. He also had 4 fouls and I'm sure that didn't help Sheridan. It sounds like the competition and the national tournament was a lot more challenging than what Sheridan had experienced in region IX.

Yes I'm sure it was a lot better but I also think Sheridan could have played a lot better than they did. In their two games they shot only in the 30% range which is not good at all. We never even came close to are average of around 95 ppg. You have to have more than just one or two guys scoring points. Still believe Gus will do just fine for the Griz and I plan to keep on watching this board so I can keep what with what he is doing.
