I disagree with you. We will run across several other teams in the upcoming years that might keep our running yards to under 65 yards in a game. The Griz will run over the cupcake teams and will have difficulty with the elite teams such a NDSU, SDSU if we can't run the ball. Our defense can only take us so far.

Hopefully, the Griz are building that dominate OL that can take us and carry us to a natty.

I can agree that we need to improve on the OL in order to run effectively against elite defenses, but that’s not what was said. What was said is that, “we got exposed against SDSU as faux rushers,” which isn’t backed up by the stats. Griz ran well against every team on the schedule minus the final three. While improvement is needed to take that next step in the path to being an elite rushing team, the Griz we’re by no means a “faux rusher”

And actually did fine against Furman. Was really the XDSU's that we struggled against.

We beat 7 top 10 teams this year. We lost to arguably one of the best fcs teams ever in the chipper.

We beat 7 top 10 teams this year. We lost to arguably one of the best fcs teams ever in the chipper.

With Ah Yat as a pure passing QB (my guess) we will not have a running QB like McDowell was, hence the need for RB depth and more RB rushing schemes. Opposing defenses should be worried.
