man it's almost funny to look back on these classes and laugh ae the wash-outs. And I'm not talking about career-ending injuries. I'm just talking about guys who couldn't hack either football, college, Missoula life or all of the above.
From that class alone there are a bunch. Remember the hype about Cady, just because of his state titles in track??? LOL. I believe he didn't even make it at Carroll. Jared Hunt is an ok WR for Carroll but has never even been Frontier All-Conference. We all know what happened to Von Appen and Douglass. Cummings was home sick and left. Lipski was epic fail though I do believe he caught on playing NAIA or DIII hoops somewhere. Kyle Finneman was never an official Griz because he had the same issue as Moore, not enough core HS credits to receive a schollie, but unlike Moore, he opted to not go to Missoula on his own. He played one full season for Northern and gave it up. Schey was just not good enough and Brody was the man. Beecher actually never showed up on campus and Buckles lasted two years before bailing. And of course NO GRIZ FAN will ever forget about Kessman!
On the flip side though, the amount of IMPACT players from that class more than makes up for the wash-outs.

The class of 2009, looking back this group overcame 3 different head coaches, a different positions coach every year and most of them have had a medical rs plus media bs, ncaa bs, feds bs. I hope the 2013 seniors win it all! GO GRIZ
