If you are saying that those "knowledgeable people" are, in fact, coaches at UM, they should be fired and replaced IMMEDIATELY....

I think that he is saying that if the coaches think that any single player is going to assure you of any wins then you have bigger problems in the coaching staff than anyone knows.

With no JJ this team will be in bad shape. The Griz have lost so many kids. It will be a hard season for a kid that has some games under his belt. ;

Shay Smithwick-Hann - If I could compare to a prior Griz QB I'd say he's more of a Bergquist kind of QB.

Brint, you have seen alot more of SSH than I have but from what I have seen he doesn't look at all like Bergquist. CB had great mobility and when he tucked the ball and ran with it he was fast and surprisingly tough to bring down. SSH seems more like a pure pocket passer with limited mobility, but a great arm. Am I missing something on SSH?

I think SSH is a much better athlete than a lot of people give him credit for. He's not going to win too many foot races but I think he has pretty good mobility and can make things happen outside the pocket.

With Rosie running the O now we may start to see more of a drop back QB than read option so maybe SSH will be the guy if JJ leaves.

I've heard knowledgeable people say that JJ is worth 4 additional wins. If he doesn't play next fall, UM will be in huge hole.

If he doesn't play, a 6-5 season would be a success.

Anyone great or even decent QBs looking for a place to transfer would be OUT OF THEIR MINDS to come to Missoula Montana with Gwen Florio and the Penn State lynch mob in town.

I think its fair to predict NO ONE will transfer to UM from any decent schools in the near future.
