Griz predicted a top 10 team in "13"

No I wouldn't bet against the Griz, ever. I'm just a bit down on our prospects after the worst season of Griz football.

i see most of your complaint was against the coaches. well this wasn't exactly the best team we've put on the field in the last 25 years. probably the worst q.b. and w.r. play during that stretch. our defense was giving up 28 ppg (when's the last time that happened?) going into cat-griz. the coaches did a great job defensively (granted they had two weeks to get ready and we were at home) preparing us for m.s.u., but their defense was by far the best we played against and just too good (fast) for our lack of talent at the skill positions.

if we can replicate what we did against m.s.u. defensively next year, we'll do well. i'm not so sure we can, because m.s.u.'s o-line was pretty bad and we exploited that. looking back i can see why we went 5-6. we need to clean up our defense and get a q.b. and some receivers. if not, you could be right.

I think you bounce back a little bit in 2013 but don't quite turn the corner... and I would imagine with a new coaching regime you'll be back to a top 10 FCS team in 2014 or 2015. Next year I'd guess you end up @ 7-5 or so... touch sched.

Could happen... I guess we'll just have to see how it plays out. You do not have a coaching staff that has proven they can win the close ones. All I've seen out of that staff is... "Boy I'm so happy with the way they competed... they tried real hard and didn't give up. I'm so proud of these young men." These are comments about a GRIZZLY football team that had a LOSING season for the first time in what, TWENTY years? Crazy.
