Has this 2 qb system gone too far?
In my opinion, a qb should NEVER be subbed out, when that qb is playing great!
Fife got screwed against Davis.
Why go away from what worked?
We come out picking apart the UCD defense with nice play calls and passing.
Their pass defense was their defense weakness. Yet, we change to running, which UCD was obviously prepared for, as was Poly!
Does this staff really trust the qbs, regardless of which qb is playing?
It sure doesn't look like it. The commitment to the 2 qb system, and play calls surely backs up this claim.
To me, defenses are obviously committed to stopping our run game. Shouldn't we be using the pass to set up the run more?
Why aren't we using more quick short to medium passes to reduce qb pressures and provide easier passes?
Why not more playactions?
Why aren't we moving around Hayden Harris more? That guy is a mismatch, moving him around more creates more mismatches.
Why not more offensive sets using Bergen and or Xavier as receiving options out of the backfield or in motion? Why not more motion PERIOD? Motion creates mismatches, defensive confusion, and easier reads for qbs.
Finally, can any of the podcasts get former GRIZ qbs or other former college qbs, that won't be afraid to speak their mind on this stupid 2 qb system? How does make the qbs feel?
