The biggest gap for playoffs are the 19,000 season ticket holders who spent their budget on the regular season tickets and may be footballed out for the year, especially for 16 deg December games against opponents they have never heard of. I will be surprised if we make 20,000, particularly since there will be almost no CC fans.
Season ticket holder here and I'd have to be in the hospital to miss a Griz playoff game...."footballed out" NEVER.
Same here, but check out all the vacant seats in the season ticket holder areas, even though when not taken they are offered to the public.
During the regular season, season ticket no-shows are still counted as tickets sold. It is not unusual to see a multitude of empty seats in a "sold out" game. However, in the playoffs, the seats need to be spoken for and paid above and beyond the season ticket charge, so any seats left vacant in these areas cannot be counted as tickets sold. So we could have as many butts in the seats for a playoff game that we have for a regular season game, but have a lower attendance, which is measured as tickets sold.
