Hey Griz Fans,
I just wanted to let you know a great site to check out if you are interested in following former players overseas. The site is www.eurobasket.com, from there you can select and find pro league information from practically every country in the world. A good way to search is by clicking the North America drop down list, select NCAA1, click on the Big Sky Conference link, click on Montana, then select the "Former Players" link right next to current roster. The current roster hasn't been updated for a long time, but some of the former player information is current. It is kind of interesting to check out where former players from all across the Big Sky Conference are playing now.
David Bell is currently playing in Switzerland for Lausanne Morges Basket averaging 21.4 points a game and his team is 4-5 in the league. He had a big game a few weeks ago, 37 points in a win.
I also talked to Victor Venters before he headed overseas to play ball in Saudi Arabia!! I thought he was a little crazy for doing so, and he actually thought it was kind of risky too, but he really wanted to keep playing. The last I heard from him he was in Bahrain trying to get into the country, so hopefully he is safe.
This year's team looks like they have a chance to be pretty good, hope you enjoy the site, Go GRIZ!
