Yeah, yeah. For the make-Stitt-look-good-at-all-costs types, NAU was our only quality win. What does that say....

Griz also beat FCS Freshman of the Year and Payton Award Finalist Case Cookus in 2015.
With our second string QB. Big game for Chad Chalich and the defense. TG was still here.

It says the UM administration did the right thing by making the change, and rightfully will not tolerate any more of this 7-4 bullshit in the future. I'm excited for the future!

Can't argue with that. But, it's not the Griz' fault either THAT, McNeese bailed out of the home and home agreement, or that Sav State (last-minute replacement), North Dakota, Northern Colorado, Portland State and Idaho State all suck ass. That's completely out of Montana's control.

Never fear though, the Griz play Northern Iowa and Western Illinois in a three-week span next season. THEY WON'T SUCK, and we'll find out plenty about who the Griz are real quick.

For what it's worth now (nothing) San Diego beat Cookus exactly how Semore said the Griz would attack him at QB Club before the NAU game. Middle of their OLine is weak, heavy pressure and force throws on the run. Said he could be rattled.

Did anyone else notice he seems a bit weak emotionally? Had a big run early when they were down 14, got up and stood over their defender. Then on his interception he probably hit the guy late out of bounds but QBs usually don't get that called against them. Point being, if UM sees him again in the playoffs next year, they should remember that they can get under his skin.

Yeah, maybe, just a tad. Dude has the mental toughness of a younger, more immature Grayson Allen.

Well, the one thing we are sure of is that the Griz will win both of those games by an average score of 42-3....with the new coach.

Win or lose those two, we do know that the post game press conference won’t include quotes like “never seen anything like it” or “if we could have just kept them from coming out of the tunnel onto the field.”

No, it's just the Griz's fault that they couldn't beat EWU, Weber or even 4-6 MSU. The reschedule was a blessing; had we had McNeese we likely would have been 6-5 in this soft schedule you describe.

There is nothing about McNeese’s play that would imply we were destined to lose to them. Much like the Griz, they struggled against any team with a pulse.
