Coach Choke is beside himself with the thought that they are not the preseason Big Sky Champs... He has also called the FCS office to file a complaint about the national polls.
More news later when it becomes available...
Yep. Heard he was pissed. He asked why the league wasn't riding for the brand, owning the state, and vimming and booming. It was ugly.

If you look at who returns for EWU and their conference schedule....it was a pretty easy choice...
Not to discredit Weber (or UC Davis), because I like Weber, but Eastern's only real tough game is going to be at UM in conference so its tough to pick against them....

Didn’t EWU graduate something like 23 seniors after last season? Correct me of I’m wrong, but if so, that’s tough to replace. I agree about the cupcake schedule.

Hauck was 6-5 (4-4 conf) in his first year back at Montana, while Choate was 4-7 (2-6 conf) in his first year at MSU. Wins over Bryant and W. Oregon. Which is uglier?poorgriz said:CDAGRIZ said:Ursa Major said:CDAGRIZ said:Spot on, and genius move by Choach. You always rate your future opponents as high as possible. I don’t pretend to fully understand all of the intricacies of The Plan. There can be only one true master and he lives in Bozeman.
Very true. True prophets, old and new, but mostly new, don't expect their followers to understand. Rather, they request blind deference. Choach has that in Bozeman despite a losing record. Think about that for a second. Dude is a losing HC. He has lost more games than he has won. Put another way, on average, he will lose the game. But, he has secured the devotion of the base. That is incredible execution of The Plan; even if we can't understand it.
Pfffffff, at least Choate is trending up. What's Hauck's record the over the past 5-10 years, I bet it's ugly
garizzalies said:Remember last year when the Choat-led’s got shit-stomped on a road trip but Choach had the best excuse—he lost an organ?!?
Perfect timing.
The Plan takes dedication, but if you think about it, he could keep this up for years.
A person can live without one lung, a kidney, spleen, appendix, gall bladder, adenoids, tonsils, plus some of your lymph nodes, the fibula bones from each leg and six ribs. Not to mention there are 8 organs that can be donated: the liver, lungs, heart, kidneys, pancreas and small intestine.
That’s like a minimum of 16 organs (seasons) depending on transplants and how many bones he has scheduled to lose at once.
We should do a pool or over/under this season. My money’s on tonsils and one rib. It’s still early so he’ll keep it light.
Jeff Choach 17-18. Champion of Nothing except a fanbase of dullards.kemajic said:Hauck was 6-5 (4-4 conf) in his first year back at Montana, while Choate was 4-7 (2-6 conf) in his first year at MSU. The number is a bit misleading because of all the injuries last year, in reality, Eastern returns most starters on offense except for Webster at WR and on Defense almost the entire front 7 returns, but Eastern will need to replace some guys in the secondary...
The cupcake schedule is a joke, wish EWU didn't have it, No MSU, Davis, or Weber....its ridiculous...Eastern's home schedule is ugly this year...

Agreed, but it’s still accurate. Leave it to our brilliant fan base to mock a coach that is 3-0 against the Griz.
...and man oh man, the name misspelling thingy, still super original and cool. In his face!
No I think you’re wrong. My guess is Choach was the one to vote Griz #1. I wish I could bet on that. It would be lock-step with The Plan.SACCAT66 said:CDAGRIZ said:Ursa Major said:It was clearly Choate. Spot on, and genius move by Choach. You always rate your future opponents as high as possible. I see you're a fellow disciple of The Plan.
Nope, I think Choate voted for EWU.... Here is how I see it
EWU had 10 of the Votes, but can't vote for themselves, so they voted for UC Davis (No way EWU would vote for the griz)
Montana is the Same, no way Hauck votes for EWU, so he voted for Davis.
UC Davis can't vote for themselves, got two votes, and I think Hawkins got pretty scared in the girz game, so he Voted for griz in the pole. So their two votes came from EWU and Montana

Not only that, but he was quoted in the paper today saying the only reason UM is ranked that high is because of “name recognition.”
HA! Think about that for a sec. Only a true manipulator can have it both ways: claiming the only reason your rival is ranked that high is because of name recognition, while being the one who voted them #1!
Holy crap! You can’t make this stuff up! The best part is how obvious it is to all us yet how oblivious C.A.T.rolls are!

No, it is not ALL that matters. However, it is the most fun win. Love seeing the melt down on here that takes place over the entire off-season. Choate lives in the head of CDA and Garazzilies 24hrs a day, every day.

You're going to act like admiring a guy who, on average, loses games, but has convinced the base that he's the answer based on absolutely nothing measurable, is a bad thing? The dude could be elected mayor of Bozeman by promising to take everyone's house away.
