I also think it’s funny that the bubs get the most first teamers but one is their long snapper and one is their fullback. Not sure he has ever played a down in the BSC but it doesn’t matter because MSDui is the only caveman offense that still carries a FB on the roster.

In all of FCS we are #6 in the media poll and #8 in the coaches poll. Interesting.
That’s obviously not a very good poll. Stats and Hero have us 3
I’m fine with it. They should rank us 23rd-25th. Seemed to work wonders for that chip on the shoulder of last years team. I’m sure Bobby is fine putting such things on the board for the team to look at until kickoff on August 31st.
I will say one thing. I’m not surprised one bit that we were #1 by a landslide, but I’m almost convinced it’s a curse being being the preseason #1 team in the league:
2023: the cats were voted first. They finished 8-4 with a second round exit
2022: the Griz were voted first. We finished 8-5 with a second round exit
2021: Weber was voted first. They finished 6-5 and missed the playoffs.
2019: Eastern was voted first. They finished 6-5 and missed the playoffs.
Just throwing this out there for the superstitious crowd

I think PSU is going to surprise a couple of teams. NAU always has one upset. ISU is ISU.
