It was terrific meeting many GRIZ parents, including Coach BarnumThank you for your support and trusting the GRIZ with your sons.

Coach Barnum, thank you for being so friendly with your time. GRIZ parents, all of you were so friendly as well. Every single parent sounded as if there won't be many portal casualties, and your kids love this Coaching Staff.

I wasn't expecting to hear this information from anyone though. Hearing that makes me think, Hauck's coming back.
 
I always like meeting the parents of players. Living quite close to Harrisonburg VA for the last 26 years, we have gone to most every game that has been within a10hr drive. There has been quite a few of them. We have met some very kind and supportive parents and a lot of ex players as well. Your boys are all amazing to watch, and they have worked extremely hard at honing their skill. Griz Nation is proud of them!

Won’t be many portals? Does this mean there are some coming this week?
 
If you listened to the post game press conference it seemed very clear that Bobby was coming back based on what he very clearly said
 
My adult kids, a former player, and another friend sat in front of the greater Bergen family. Talked to mom and aunt all game. Had great fun with them. My daughter joked that she thought she was going to have to restrain the aunt from going down to the field after the ref who didn’t throw flag when no. 5 got pushed away from making catch on a longer pass in front of them.

I used that terminology to leave room for error.
Actually, every parent I spoke with was confident, the only xfrs will be eligible grad xfrs. I hope that's accurate.

To me, that's a sign Hauck is back too.
No matter who is here, I just hope we can implement a more consistent passing game next season.
 
You don’t get amazing character without amazing families. I’ve been fortunate to meet and strike up conversations with a lot of families this year, including Sunday. Amazing people, and a huge reason why their families and kids/relatives fit so well with the Griz family. This type of connection is hard to beat, especially in bigger programs. we are all lucky.
 
Met Corbin Walker's dad. Super nice guy. Too bad Corbin's done...could have used another year of him.
