Griz/Oregon State highlights

Awesome job!!!! Progress is being made. Here is to hoping the GRIZ continue to impress, and have many more highlights every game. Any chance of replays available at grizcentral.com or montanagrizzlies.com?
 
Full-game replays are only available through BigSkyTV.org, as far as I know, and they are $19.95/game and the game had to have been shown live on BigSkyTV to be available. Seems a little steep to me, but I guess that's how they pay for the free live coverage.

I can't speak for GrizCentral.com (KPAX), but MontanaGrizzlies.com does not have the rights to do complete games.

You have to do highlights for EVERY game if you want the support to come.

Like I have said, you might have to give students or interns camcorders and the edits might end up looking unprofessional as hell for the weaker OOC games and the conference games that aren't as exciting, but it's better than nothing!

Promote. Promote. Promote.
 
Dub, like I have said, we're trying to improve basketball coverage. As part of that, highlights for every game is a long-term goal, but right now I don't have the staffing to pull it off. We will do as many of them as we can now with what we've got, but for now know that we are working on it.

Not sure if he would be interested or not, but Grizjournal does good work. I like his work, and he seems passionate too. :thumb:
 
I still have a lot to learn on the new video editing program I got this fall. But -- if someone has a camera & access to the games -- I'd be happy to work on game highlights. Derek would be the guy to talk to regarding logistics.
 
This is just a small complaint, not even a complaint, really, but why does the U feel it's necessary to have different logos for UM football, Lady Griz Basketball, and UM basketball? ie, "The GRIZ Montana Basketball" logo from the Tinkle youtube video and his sweatshirt compared to the "Griz" script from football, etc.

You would think that consistency and brand recognition would be a priority. Maybe I'm not paying attention, but I don't think I've ever noticed another example of schools doing that before.

It's not a big deal, but for a program having marketing issues and slight identity issues, you have to look at everything.
