I have been impressed with the improvement with the o-line play of the Griz the last two years. They have improved tremendously with a lot of their pass blocking etc. It should be a great matchup vs what I think may be one the best defensive lines MSU has kicked out in the last few year (at least in terms of generating pass rush). Not sure how Daly will hold up as teams run at him at the DE position. But Preston Gales backs him up and if he hadn't got hurt last year may have been the starter coming into this year.
As far as the o-line for MSU goes...I think that what we will be doing on offense vs last years version will help us out a lot since we won't be asking our inexperienced and smaller o-line to plow over somebody with a power rush attack. Getting back O. Davis back is huge in my opinion, because him and freshman S. Johnson actually have the speed to get to the outside and create something out of nothing (Griz may want to forget about that).
Bobcats will be interesting to watch to this year because everything hinges on the development of that young o-line....and kicker...(we really miss Cunningham as he won a lot of games for us). We are loaded with talent everywhere else.
All I know that the FCS champs usually have the best combination of offensive and defensive lines and that combination will probably determine the Big Sky champ too.
