Does anybody think that perhaps this years anemic offense has anything to do with Hostess going under? I mean, Hey! The very lack of tossing the Twinkies could've done it!

no. as the season wound down the defense got better and the offense got worse, but the tone-setting losses of the year (ewu, nau, und) were largely due to the defense.
