There weren’t a ton of “holes” to run through…90% of the yards were gained by bouncing plays outside that were intended for between the tackles.

Which was good to do because they had no edge strength and lousy tackling in open space. They built their defense to attempt to plug the middle. The edges were open all day.

Also looked like his arm was out to the side and not over the top. It was a hell of a throw.

It definitely was a big boy throw.
Amazing throw for any qb, let alone a freshman qb.

Remember the big boy throw made by Huot in the spring scrimmage?

Late in this game Fife's pass also to Bergen was impressive. That was a touch and accuracy pass though.

The GRIZ have a lot of potential at qb this year.
