I gave 'em 10 to 1. I think they have a decent shot at it because the conference tourney is what it's all about. Two years ago, we had somewhat of a down regular season, but we won the BSC tourney, and went dancin'.
You know, I was just cheking out the schedule, and the Griz have an odd stretch coming up of home games in a row; and then away games in a row. This is definitely good for getting in a rhythm @ home, but that road stretch will be tough. I bet the beginning of conference play will be very a welcome return to normal.
Somebody thinks that the Griz are 1 to 1 to make the tournament. That sounds like some confidence. I wonder if they would be willing to wager some egriz bucks on that?
What about this: What are the Griz's chances of making the NCAA Tourney, given that they make the Big Sky Tourney. Oh, I know it's way too early, but some guesses would be fun!

Griz making the tourney. There is just tooo much talent on this team to choke. They will hopefully get it together and find a way to win like they have over the past two years!!!
I think that the Griz's chances are quite good if they continue to
improve. Against BSU they showed flashes of using the Hasquet-
Strait-chavez combo. Chavez needs to play more-he can shoot and
he rebounds. The coaches need to mature as a staff; last yr
larry would thorw a press on the opposition to get 3-4 quick buckets; he also ran the baseball pass from Strait to Virgil in a key
situation. We need to quit walking the ball up the floor; particularly
when we are behind.
I haven't seen Northern Arizona this year and Portland State
could be a sleeper in the tournamnt with Bone as a coach. EWU
is always tough-we have to go box and one with stuckey and above all find a 3ball shooter.
