If you watched and listened to him when Furman had their early week presser, I would describe him as bored. He was staring off into space while the others were answering or when questions were being asked. He's a grad student and a military reservist. He knows exactly what he's doing. Just started the shit-talking early. Good luck to him.

Not a Tommy Mellott, or a Gevani McCoy, or a Dante Chachere, or a Miles Hastings…….Griz have faced at the very least four better offenses with better QBs than Furman. I do think Furmans defense is the best overall the Griz will have played.

I’m more than twice his age, have recently found out I have arthritis, and I will run 50 miles across the Bob in six months. Perhaps I’ll inquire what he’s up to that day and see if he’s up for finding out how much athleticism that requires from an aging Griz grad.

What a moronic comment to make. I don’t want him to get hurt, but I hope he regrets saying it when he sees a lot or maroon jersey in his face tonight.
 
If the QB from Furman said this, then it makes me so happy because we are playing against a really dumb QB who's about to be humbled by our ferocious defense. If the weather holds up and doesn't rain or snow, I look forward to pitching a shutout against these purple pussies. I can't wait to see our defense create a minimum of 4 turnovers and humble this QB and his offense. Go GRIZ!!!!!

To be fair to the fella, the Griz are not the most athletic bunch. There are P5 teams, NFL teams, sprinters, high jumpers, decathletes, etc. Have you ever tried to dine-n-dash at a restaurant owned by Kenyan marathoners? They will run 26.2 miles in record time to catch you.

At least that gives it a little more context. He wasn't saying the Griz aren't athletic, just that Furman has faced more athletic teams. But still .... a pretty foolish thing to say.
